Tawan Slaughter
Owner
Tawan was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She graduated high school from Christian Central Academy, Williamsville NY. Tawan played varsity basketball for the Crusaders. She was the point guard for the team. Tawan became the Western NY All-Time leading scorer from 2001-2009. She broke the scoring record with 2,256 points. Tawan averaged 38.9 points per game. After high school, she played collegiate basketball at Fredonia State College (2002-2003), and Buffalo State College (2003-2005). Tawan had a very exciting college career averaging 14.1 points, 3 steals, 2 assists per game. She was the point guard for the Buffalo State Bengals. Tawan graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She is also a New York State Certified Athletic Coach. After graduating college, she was presented with several opportunities to play on a professional level.
Since graduating from Buffalo State College, Tawan has recently earned a Masters Degree in Science in Education from Canisius College. She has been working as physical education and health teacher, in the Buffalo Public School system for the past three years. Tawan has been coaching women’s and men’s basketball for the past six years. She was the Assistant Coach at Erie Community College (2007). Tawan has coached women’s and men’s varsity basketball for five seasons at Oracle Charter School, Buffalo NY.

Eva was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She is a graduate of the State University of New York At Buffalo. Eva earned a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration. After graduating college she went on to become an Ordained Minister. Eva is the Founder & CEO of the Spiritual Healing & Deliverance Services ( Not-For Profit) Corporation.

Javon Slaughter

Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree Candidate ‘16
Javon Slaughter is a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) candidate for the class of 2016. Completing his 4th year as a Student Dentist at the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine he spends time diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases in the oral cavity.
Javon is a native of Buffalo, NY and a graduate from the University at Buffalo, where he completed his Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. He is also a proud alumnus of Nichols high school. He has always has a determination to impact change. During his undergraduate years he founded organizations to create fundraisers and raise money on behalf of non-profit agencies throughout Western New York.
Javon has always had a passion for basketball and an even greater passion for Western New York. He has successfully both played professional and coached youth basketball. He is excited about the opportunity to help bring professional basketball back to this region.
