Buffalo, NY native, Sia Rogers, is a Sales and Marketing specialist with experience that spans nine years. She earned her Bachelors of Arts in Communications at the University Pittsburgh and her Masters degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. She presented a solid Marketing plan to management of an international company while studying at Oxford University in London, England. Sia Rogers garned a strong business skill set in the pharmaceutical and education industry. She is a solid relationship cultivator with a focus in brand management, sales, buyer behavior, opportunity analysis, messaging, promotions, market research, public relations & social media. Sia looks forward to joining the 716ers, creating marketing strategy for such a dynamic organization.

 

Andrew Serrano

As a Western NY native, Andrew grew up rooting for the hometown teams. His role with the Buffalo 716ers is to develop and manage the team’s marketing and promotional initiatives. He developed his marketing skills throughout his undergraduate and graduate degrees, and later working at advertising agencies. When he’s not working with the 716ers, he’s busy spending time with his wife and raising their son.

John Slaughter has been managing the merchandising and concessions operations for the past two seasons. 
Tawan Slaughter

Tawan was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She graduated high school from Christian Central Academy, Williamsville NY. Tawan played varsity basketball for the Crusaders. She was the point guard for the team. Tawan became the Western NY All-Time leading scorer from 2001-2009. She broke the scoring record with 2,256 points. Tawan averaged 38.9 points per game. After high school, she played collegiate basketball at Fredonia State College (2002-2003), and Buffalo State College (2003-2005). Tawan had a very exciting college career averaging 14.1 points, 3 steals, 2 assists per game. She was the point guard for the Buffalo State Bengals. Tawan graduated from Buffalo State College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications. She is also a New York State Certified Athletic Coach. After graduating college, she was presented with several opportunities to play on a professional level.

 

Since graduating from Buffalo State College, Tawan has recently earned a Masters Degree in Science in Education from Canisius College. She has been working as physical education and health teacher, in the Buffalo Public School system for the past three years.
